I have always embraced hard work as a determined young professional in Northeast Ohio. Despite my dedication, I started feeling unfulfilled and faced some medical issues after spending years in the workforce. During my recovery, I rediscovered my passion for popcorn and began experimenting with different flavors using a nostalgic cart popper. With encouragement from my mother, three daughters, and the unwavering support of my fiancé, Sherry, I made the life-changing decision to transform this passion into a business endeavor.

In July 2022, we acquired the necessary equipment for our venture. After exploring various options, we chose to look for local opportunities and discovered a fully equipped kitchen at a Parma Church nearby. Joey’s Rockin Poppin Popcorn was officially launched in October 2022. The name of our business is a nod to my deep love for music. Our logo creatively features the Cleveland skyline constructed with stack speakers, symbolizing the vibrant Rock ‘n’ Roll culture of Ohio. Additionally, our slogan, NEVER STOP POPPIN ®️, is a direct reflection of the energy and spirit of rock ‘n’ roll music.
